Sheri McIntire, M.Ed., QMHP
Ms. McIntire has provided services to PLANCTX clients since 2007. She brings to her Lead Care Manager position a wealth of experience with clients of all age-levels. Her Master's degree program afforded her many opportunities to pursue intervention-efforts with children in psychiatric, school, and home settings. Since that time, Ms. McIntire has worked in a variery of mental health settings, including psychiatric hospitals, medical sales, state government and special education. She has taught public school, supervised inpatient psychiatric hospital care, and performed training, auditing and consulting with the Texas Interagency Council for Early Childhood Intervention. Her depth of experience allows Ms. McIntire to make an unusually wide range of resources available to her clients. Ms. McIntire is a proud wife, mother and daughter. Three of her family's four children are in college, and she has learned the geriatric end of the service-continuum firsthand as she continues to care for her father, who has Alzheimer's. A lifelong equestrienne, Ms. McIntire has recently become affliated with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International. She is pursuing both national and international certifications.
